New To Our Site This Week!

Here are some of the highlights for what is new this week on the site:

Site Search Function- I know the Untrodden Road has a lot of pages and a lot of information. Now you can seach the site to find exactly what you are looking for in seconds! And you can find information on your topic on the main pages, in our articles, on the forums, and more. It makes it nice and easy to find all the information you need!

Untrodden Road Toolbox- On the side of the page you'll see some new links. One is "Get the Tools You Need." As I find products that help me in working from home or that have helped others, I add them here. There are free e-books for download, special phones for call center agents, books on how to start and run your businesses, places to continue your education, and more!

Untrodden Road Shop- Amazon partnered with us and created a shop for everything the work at homer would need or even just like!

Resources- Some great resources I found in my journeys. Great ways to market your businesses for free or at low costs, information and how to's, and more.

New Articles were added to the Lifestyle Section. This section's link now says "Work at Home Articles." It just seems more fitting. There are three there from Alice Seba who I am really impressed with as of late! By the way, we are accepting articles if you'd like to submit one to help your fellow Work at Homer!

Concierge Section- How to work as a Virtual Concierge

Contests and Games- I am not sure if I will be leaving this section in or not. This week, I just happened to speak to a lot of people who do a lot of sweepstakes and contests and even gaming and consider it part of their work from home. I added some resources for this. I tried to limit it to free ones or at least ones that match your money. We'll see....

Blog- Check out our Blog. There is a great Q&A session with one of our readers about promoting her business. Maybe you have a great idea for her. Leave a comment and let her know! Let's all help each other succeed!

New Jobs and Companies!

Another Big Week!
There are alot of jobs listed in the This Just In Section for this week with more on the way. I am just going to list a couple for you that seem pretty universal.

Carver Marketing and Associates 1-866-684-5097 Work at Home- Lead Generation 100% commission. Get leads, do follow up, set appointments. Get paid daily. If you do call center work, you can do this (in my opinion). A sell is a sell and you call center agents are some of the best sales people ever!

After Hours Travel Agent to Work from Home- The only glich is you have to be able to get to Houston for training. But it sounds like a great job. Nights, weekend, holidays, good pay. Send resume to resume22@carlsonwagonlit.com

BabytoBee- If you look at their website, you can get a good idea of what they do. I do not work for this one, but from what I gather you call expectant parents who have requested offers or information on the website. You are generating leads and making other offers to them. You get paid hourly $10.00. They pay weekly. They ask for a minimum of 30 hours per week but you make your own schedule. Their is no link to apply on their website but you can send an e-mail to seth@babytobee.com or deena@babytobee.com

JPC Call Services- They seem to be a smaller company but I have seen several ads for call center ops to work from home for them. Both inbound and outbound calls. E-mail hrapply02@gmail.com for more infomration and to apply. 20 hours per week are requires. Pay is twice per month. Not telemarketing or sales. it is customer service calls after normal business hours.

MBC Virtual- Their site claims you can make up to $30.00 per hour. You can work as little or as much as you like.

Voice Log- Hiring for verification agents to determine if salconciergeses made by call centers agents are genuine or fraudulent. Also hire for other positions periodically. Pay is $8.50 per hour weekdays and $9.00 per hour weekends.

Service 800- Provide follow up customer service calls for quality assurance. You do need long distance for this but they reimburse you for your calls.

VIP Desk- Hiring for Brand Ambassadors (high end call center reps). Compensation seems like it may be based on experience. They also hire virtual concierges.

Accolade Support- Work on an on-call basis. Let them know the hours you are available and should they have an overflow of calls, they will call you to work. Customer service, help desk, and other calls are answered. $7.25-$9.00 per hour.

Reps For Rent- Most jobs guarantee $8-$15 per hour, some offer bonuses.

Xact Telesolutions- Taking calls in a fast paced, customer driven environment working from your home office. Bilingual a plus. Computer and high speed Internet connection required.

The Mom Pack
Moms Promoting Other Moms- I am so impressed by this site. They offer WAHM's the opportunity for FREE advertising. You can link your business on their site and if you choose to, you can submit flyers, samples, and brochures to be placed in Mom's Packs. Members put together these Moms Packs and send them to their customers as a way to help promote other moms in business. What a great idea!

This Week's Shout Out's

Shout outs this week go to all the readers of Untrodden Road. I've been speaking to many of you and you are all busting your humps working from home! I wish everyone success in all of their endeavors. Let me know if I can help!

Here are some tips for you:
Do what you love and love what you do! Choose a work from home job or business that makes you happy. The money will follow.

Never give up on your dream and don't let others make you feel your efforts are silly.

Create a schedule for yourself and try to follow it as much as possible. Yes this DOES mean you have to STOP working sometimes. Schedule some "you time" Sometimes just sitting down and watching a TV show can refresh us.

Network with others and help one another succeed. There is enough for everyone. When you help someone else you help yourself as well. There are many ways to create mutually beneficial relationships.
